Maywood, 96.4% Diverse

Maywood to lay off all city employees, dismantle Police Department | L.A. NOW | Los Angeles Times:
At a council meeting Monday night, city leaders said they were forced to dismantle the Police Department and lay off city workers because they lost insurance coverage as a result of excessive police claims filed against the department. They also blamed years of financial abuse and corruption from the previous council.

My first reaction was that "foreign born 48.6%" was the killer. No people can survive immigration like that, and when the people are gone - as they are, at 2.8% of the population - their manners and customs go too, and with them the institutions founded on the way they behave. As we see. It's a typical mix of Mexican lethargy and corruption now.

My second reaction was that "foreign born 12.5%" was the real killer. That's enough to do for your country, unless you're drawing from a completely compatible population and have strong social mechanisms to enforce assimilation.

And note those are government numbers, several years old. The truth is certainly worse.

Whites are pathologized for White flight, as if judging yourself endangered and fleeing is a crime against humanity. From humanity's point of view it is, I suppose, because along with White flight comes civilization flight. It's "White supremacist" to see it that way, but then so is the "liberal" premise that Whites, and Whites alone, are obligated to help everyone else at our own expense. Between the White supremacists on one side and the equally supremacist White "liberals" on the other stand the never-ending hordes of non-White supremacists exploiting our deadly division.

I think your post title is slightly wrong. Based on the pie graph, Maywood is 96.4% vibrant, but 97.2% diverse.

As you point out, these are old and government-given numbers, so things may be even "better" than that.

Tan, Astounding to see reported by the authorities in the UK that the majority of certain crimes are black:

"The data provide a breakdown of the ethnicity of the 18,091 men and boys who police took action against for a range of violent and sexual offences in London in 2009-10.

They show that among those proceeded against for street crimes, 54 per cent were black; for robbery, 59 per cent; and for gun crimes, 67 per cent. Street crimes include muggings, assault with intent to rob and snatching property.

Just over 12 per cent of London’s 7.5 million population is black, including those of mixed black and white parentage, while 69 per cent is white, according to the Office for National Statistics."

Daybreaker - this highlights a problem the powers that be have never fully explained.

The wonderful properties of vibrancy and diversity should be explicable in terms of each other, a unified theory.

Are the levels of vibrancy and diversity best seen as waves or particles?

The degree to which an area is vibrant could be measured in diversigens.

The degree to which an area is diverse could be measured in vibrons.

Or something.

There's not only diversity and vibrancy but an "urban" sensibility to take account of. Urban populations can be recognized, sight unseen, by their names...

http://stuffblackpeoplehate.com/2008/03/14/stupid-names/

... and of course by their violent crime rates.

When their violent crime rates are really spectacular we can talk about "colorful" urban lifestyles without fear of confusion. (Using "colorful" to describe neighborhoods that are relatively less "urban" but still squalid can imply "gay" - which my old dictionary informs me once meant much the same thing as "cheerful".)

Of that 8 tenths of a percent of the population of Maywood that's diverse but not vibrant, how many of those tenths would be urban? I'm blind guessing about seven.

That would leave a tenth of a percent to run things that require numeracy and refusal to be bluffed by political correctness, like retail. ("No I don't owe you reparations for slavery, and don't think I don't see your sister trying to steal while you distract me!") "Asian" still seems to be acceptable for the people who usually wind up doing those jobs.

What percentage of the population would be "brilliant" in the sense that Elena Kagan is, with crowds of people of the same ethnicity clustering around them saying "he's brilliant!" and "she's brilliant!" and "indispensable - must promote"? I'd guess about 00.0% Brilliant lawyers would typically have fought any attempt to hold back the dismal tide, guaranteeing the displacement or destruction of those who incorrectly believed them to be their "fellow" Whites. Then the "brilliant!" ones would have been first out of the neighborhood.

(Just guessing. But it would be typical.)

What holds brilliance, vibrancy, urban and Asian cultures together in diversity? A lot of hard work by the brilliant, mainly. (Not by the urban, who generally prefer "keeping it real", that is abusing anyone they feel abusing whenever they feel like doing the abusing, at whatever cost to coalition-building efforts.)

But to consolidate that work, you have to embody it in law.

Fortunately, the brilliant are well represented in all the law-making branches of government, that is the courts, the legislatures, the executive (generally clustered about as advisors), and the under-rated funding / lobbying complex. George Soros, Jack Abramoff - those brilliant people.

So the legislation looks like this:

http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=37697

While the legislation was being debated Senators Jeff Sessions (R.-Ala.) and Tom Coburn (R.-Okla.) asked about both hypothetical instances where whites, Christians, or military members would be assaulted and if such would qualify as hate crimes. Atty. Gen. Holder responded that hate crimes legislation “would not necessarily cover that” and was designed to cover “protected groups.” He explained this meant “people who are African-American, Hispanic, people who are Jewish, people who are gay people” and “have been targeted over—over the many years.” In other words: not whites and Christians.

Effectively, in law, there are two kinds of people: diverse non-haters, and White haters. Legally punishable hate is imputed to those who are alleged to have fought diversity, but not to the diverse attacking the non-diverse. That's a powerful common interest, because it applies not just to crime (effective though that is in making Whites flee) but to all kinds of social fighting for resources and turf.

Currently, that's my unified field theory of vibrancy, diversity etc.: it's all about the hate. The influential hatred of the brilliant and the well connected is driving a legal, social and genetic transformation, to the detriment of those who are defined as the haters but are really the hated.

Test yourself: if the future is sold as brilliantly diverse, vibrant, full of colorful urban culture and against hate...

* Specifically, who wins and who loses?

* Who is being euphemized, magnified and flattered, and who is implicitly being rendered obscene (literally: "off-scene")?

* Who made up this glowing, deceptive vocabulary and repeated it endlessly in the mass media? (Mega-bonus points for having the scholarship to back up your contention. I can't, I'm just wondering.)

The source of "diverse" is definite: it's from the United States Supreme Court. When the Court made "diversity" a useful legal weapon, it was suddenly of wide interest. Before that, nobody cared.

These words are weapons. Their history and use should always be seen in that light.

Great stuff Daybreaker.

I forgot to mention 'enrichment' in my unified theory.

How does enrichment of a locale equate to its being colourful?

Whats a true believer multicultist to do?
